Development Officer
In April 2009 the Executive Committee voted to create a role of Development Officer for the Organisation.
The objectives of this role were to be:-
- Increase the membership of the organisation
- Promote and increase regional networks
- Explore possibilities and apply for funds from other sources to help sustain the organisation
- Support the organisation of the annual conference and develop the idea of a leadership wing of the organisation
- Liaise and network with other organisations and bodies on behalf of prus.gov.uk
- Prepare a self evaluation report at the end of the year building on the reports for the executive which clearly identifies and strengths and barriers of the role
The position was to be financed by the organisation to the equivalent of one day per week and in September 2009 Jacky Mackenzie, the present Secretary of the organisation, was appointed to this post.
